Music (Monday) Blues!

I think this might be a monthly series I’m starting on this blog. Music is something that makes my day better and why not share my favourite with you.

At the moment these are my favourites:

Anne Marie – Then

I’ve recently gone through an episode in my life that I have thankfully left it behind in two thousand seventeen. This song clearly represents my feelings towards this situation. I’m just going to leave it at that.

Sigrid – Strangers

I just love her energy in the music video, to be honest, but the song is very uplifting, and Sigrid’s voice is pretty amazing! You just want to burst out into song when this comes on!

Dua Lipa – IDGAF

The title honestly says it all. It is something I really need to implement in some aspects in my life. I care way too much sometimes, and I just need to not give a fudge about some situations and just live!!

Troye Sivan – My My My!

My, my, my I just love this guy. I have been with him since his start on Youtube, and I have always been a fan of his voice and work. This one hit the internet by storm, and I just love the vibe, the sound and the rhythm. It gave me an eighty’s vibe regarding the music video as well.

Disney songs have been concurrent throughout two thousand seventeen and are inevitably going to stay for two thousand eighteen. I have been singing at the top of my lungs ‘Friends on the Other Side’ from Princess and the Frog as well as ‘Something There’ from Beauty and the Beast (1991).

Additionally, I have recently posted about my love for musicals in general, and of course, I do have some songs from musicals as well! I have been listening too (on repeat) ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman which has recently come out in the cinema. Also, I have been loving Anastasia. The latter is an oldie but goldie. It’s still an animation, but I just love the songs in general! The one that is at heart is ‘Once Upon a December’.

I’m always looking at updating my playlist and adding more to my repertoire. Please do feel free to leave any suggestions below and I’ll make sure to listen to them!

Stay happy, stay you!
